Dr Michaela Gough is the founder and General Practitioner at EverWell Family Practice in Hoedspruit, dedicated to providing trusted, holistic healthcare for individuals and families. She completed her medical training at Stellenbosch University and brings a deep passion for compassionate, patient-centred care to the Hoedspruit community.
Through evidence-based medicine, her approach offers care that values the full picture of health – physical, mental, and emotional. With a strong foundation in mental health care, she established a dedicated mental health clinic and led the psychiatric multidisciplinary team at Seshego Hospital. She has also completed advanced training in emergency medicine, resuscitation, and point-of-care ultrasound, equipping her to handle both urgent and ongoing health concerns with confidence and care.
